“Representing Canada in three Olympic Games was among the biggest thrills of my life. Welcoming the world here in 2010 will be another highlight. Hosting the 2010 Winter Games will put us on the world stage, and we look forward to showing our guests how British Columbia offers a lifetime of opportunities.”

- Nancy Greene Raine, Canadian Olympic Gold Medalist, Independent lodge owner-operator and Director of Skiing, Sun Peaks Resort

CATALYST FOR GROWTH, SUSTAINABILITY, AND INNOVATION
In 2010, British Columbia will proudly host the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The Provincial Government has committed $600 million to this landmark event which is expected to generate up to $10 billion in new economic activity, and permanently enhance the province’s profile as an international business location and tourism destination.

By establishing a local presence early on, companies will be in an excellent position to take advantage of Games-related business and investment opportunities, maximize media exposure, and develop business partnerships.
